- Older Phonetics and Linguistics books and periodicals (pre-2007) can be found at UCL Main Library.

- Psychology resources can be found at the UCL Science Library.
- UCL Ear Institute and RNID libraries, both housed at the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital on Gray's Inn Road,
have specialist collections relating to ENT, voice, hearing, deafness and sign language.
- The Friends of the Children of Great Ormond Street Library at the UCL Institute of Child Health has books, periodicals
and other items related to child health, and also has a specialist collection of resources on disability.
- The Rockefeller Medical Library at the UCL Institute of Neurology is the specialist library for neurology.
- The UCL Cruciform Library holds textbooks and periodicals in medicine and clinical sciences.
- UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) library has linguistics material relating to the languages of those regions.

| Beyond UCL: |
- UCL students have full borrowing rights at the nearby University of London Research Library Services at Senate House,
which has excellent psychology, arts, humanities and and social science collections. Next door to Senate House,
the School of Oriental and African Studies has linguistics material relating to Asian and African languages.
- For resources in education and special education, the University of London's Institute of Education is close by on Bedford Way. The IoE library is open to UCL students for reference only, whilst academic staff and researchers have borrowing rights.
- Chandler House is also within walking distance of our national treasure, the British Library, on Euston Road. Students may obtain a Reader Pass by presenting their student ID, plus some other proof of identity bearing a signature, and proof of address (see the BL Admissions pages for further details).
- Also on Euston road is the Welcome Institute, which has a stunning library and collections in the history of medicine, open to all.
